Balboa Fun Zone

If you are looking for more adventure with a touch of the past, try the "Fun Zone". A Newport Beach institution since 1936, the "Fun Zone" is ideal for children of all ages. Ride the Ferris Wheel, the Merry-go-round, and the bumper cars. Play video games, pose for a photo booth portrait (like you did when uou were a teenager), or browse through the delightful shops for souvenirs along the boadwalk. While you're there, a must is to snack on the famous "Balboa Bar"- a chocolate covered ice cream bar covered with your favorite topping. And the best part of all is that all these attractions are less than 5 minutes from our beach rentals!

Catalina Island

As the song says: "only 26 miles across the sea, sunny Catalina is waiting for me". Long known as California's favorite island getaway, Santa Catalina offers something for everyone. From crystal-clear waters, sandy beaches and panoramic views to golf, tennis, hiking, and horse-back riding it makes a fantastic day trip from our beach rentals. The Catalina Ferry Terminal is next to the "Fun Zone" and only minutes by car, bike, or walk from our beach rentals.
